- How much does roof cleaning cost?
- Roof cleaning typically costs between €400 and €900 for an average family home, depending on size, pitch and how much growth there is. Roof coating is quoted separately after we inspect the roof.
- Will cleaning my roof damage the slates or tiles?
- No - we use low-pressure methods and hand tools suited to the roof covering. We never blast slates with high pressure, and we inspect for loose or broken slates as we go.
- How often should I have my roof cleaned in Ireland?
- Because of our damp climate, most roofs benefit from a clean and treatment every three to five years. A protective coating can stretch that out considerably.
- How long does a roof cleaning job take?
- Most house roofs are completed in one to two days. Larger roofs or roofs needing coating can take longer, and we confirm the timeline before we start.
- Do you work safely on high roofs?
- Yes - our teams use ladders, harnesses and access equipment, and we follow all working at height safety guidelines. We never rush a roof job, and we always work with at least two crew members.
- Will the moss grow back after cleaning?
- Moss and algae will return eventually in our climate, which is why we apply a biocide treatment as standard. For the longest protection, we recommend our protective roof coating.
