We wash down, scrape and sand all surfaces and repair any cracks or rotten timber.

We apply a suitable primer to bare wood, metal and previously painted surfaces.

We apply two quality coats of exterior paint, cut in neatly around windows and trim.

Final Inspection
We inspect the finished job with you and tidy up all equipment and waste.

- How much does exterior painting cost?
- Exterior painting for a typical three-bed house costs between €2,500 and €5,000 depending on size, access and condition. We give you a detailed written quote after viewing the property.
- How long will the paint last on my house?
- With proper preparation and quality paint, exterior paintwork should last eight to twelve years. The secret is preparation - we never paint over peeling or damp surfaces.
- How long does an exterior painting job take?
- Most houses take between one and two weeks, depending on the weather and the size of the property. We work around forecast rain so every coat cures properly.
- Can you paint in Irish weather?
- We paint through the drier months and between showers, but we never paint in the rain or on very damp days. A rushed coat of paint will fail quickly, and we will not do that to your home.
- Do you paint pebble dash and roughcast?
- Yes - we paint pebble dash, roughcast and rendered walls with breathable masonry paint that lets moisture escape and will not crack or peel.
- Do I need to move furniture or cover my garden?
- We cover plants, paths and outdoor furniture before we start. You only need to make sure windows can be opened on the day we paint the frames.
