- How much does stamped concrete cost?
- Stamped concrete typically costs between €90 and €130 per square metre installed, which is well below the price of natural stone. We will give you an exact quote after visiting your site.
- How long does stamped concrete last?
- A properly prepared and sealed stamped concrete drive will last for decades. The sealer should be renewed every few years to protect the colour and finish, and we can advise on the right maintenance.
- Will stamped concrete get slippery in the rain?
- We can apply an anti-slip additive to the sealer for extra grip, which is popular for drives and paths in wetter areas. Ask us about it when we quote the job.
- How long does the installation take?
- Most stamped concrete jobs take between 5 and 7 days including curing time. The pattern is pressed on the day of the pour, and the surface is ready to use once the sealer has cured.
- Can I have a pattern that matches natural stone?
- Yes, we offer stamp patterns that closely copy flagstone, slate, cobble and brick, and a wide range of colours. We will show you samples before you decide.
- Do I need planning permission for stamped concrete?
- The same rules apply as for any driveway, and most jobs on existing hardstanding do not require permission. We can advise on planning matters before we start.
