Access and location matter enormously. A tree in an open field can be felled in one go. A tree in a tight city garden surrounded by buildings, fences and flower beds needs piece-by-piece dismantling with ropes and rigging - which takes longer and costs more.
Stump removal is usually quoted separately. Stump grinding costs roughly €50-€200 depending on the stump diameter, while full stump excavation is more involved and costs more.
Emergency call-outs for storm-damaged trees that pose an immediate risk are typically charged at a premium rate because they require rapid response, often outside normal working hours.
